Commonwealth Publishing was established in 2012 to publish “digital first” editions of politics and current affairs titles.
Since then Commonwealth has issued ebooks by Nicholas Shaxson, Adam Ramsay, Ann Pettifor and many others, and
has sold re-publishing rights to major UK publishers, including Verso and Penguin Random House.

In 2014 Commonwealth branched out into self-help, publishing Gary Wilson’s international bestseller, Your Brain on
Porn: Internet Pornography and the Science of Addiction. Gary’s book has now been published in seven languages and
has sold more than 150,000 copies worldwide in English. The Japanese edition sold more than 10,000 copies in its first
year in print. Spanish and Korean translations are currently being prepared.
